'All My Clothes' recalls an affecting biographical moment: the frantic actions of the artist’s own mother when given 15 minutes to prepare for detainment by the German Army during WWII resulted in her flinging her clothes out of the windows.

Spent the entire day gardening and moving this hydrangea to a less sun-soaked spot.

I’ve planted:

  • Six little strawberry plants
  • Lemon verbena
  • Some leftover mint
  • Three types of sunflower seeds
  • Sage

(Also, after maybe three or four years I found my favourite dress from when I was 15 in the back of my closet. It is all washed out and much too big now, but it was nice to wear again.)

My love and I looked at paintings of Dalí all evening.

Dankjewel!

I don’t know what’s the matter with me—why I’m so adept at distance, why I feel so remote from things, why life feels like a rumor.
